information
There are 3 main ear parts:
- Outer ear
- Middle ear
- Inner ear
The outer ear:
Of course is this part on the outside of the ear.
In the outer ear are : ear flap and ear channal
The middle ear:
This side comes next to the ear channal.
In the outer ear are: the ear drum, the middle ear bones (hammer, anvil and stirrup).
The middle ear bones bump against the cochlea (inner ear).
The inner ear:
In the inner ear you see the cochlea (Dutch: slakkenhuis) and the organ of balance.
If there is something wrong with the organ of balance you can fall on the ground.
And then there are the nerves to the brain.
There is also an eastachian tube. That connects the ear with the nose.
Diagonally above this tube, there is something thta's called 'round window'.
How goes it through your ear?
The ear flap catches the sound and passes it through the ear channal,
then the sound touches the ear drum and the middle ear bones bump against the cochlea.
The cochlea passes it to the nerves and the nerves send the sound to the brain.
